NPP Govt records in infrastructure unmatched – Bawumia

The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has outperformed previous administrations in infrastructure development in the country.

Dr. Bawumia, who is also the presidential candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), emphasized that there have been major improvements in various sectors, such as roads, sports, the judiciary, and education during their nearly eight years in office, claiming that no other government can match their achievements.

“This government under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made remarkable progress in infrastructure development nationwide. Our administration stands unmatched in the Fourth Republic regarding infrastructure, whether its roads, schools, hospitals, courts, sports fields, public libraries, fish landing sites, or DRIP projects.

“No other government in the Fourth Republic can compare; we have set new records in these areas.”

He made these remarks in Ho on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, while inaugurating a newly constructed Ho Municipal Office complex as part of his campaign tour in the Volta region.

He further explained, “Our approach to infrastructure development aims to ensure fair distribution across all regions so that every district has similar facilities, and that is what we have been working towards.”

Dr. Bawumia, who is aiming for the presidency, concluded that the achievements are evident, and Ghanaians should take pride in the NPP’s leadership.
