Napo’s wife, Alma rallies PWDs to vote for NPP

Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh, wife of NPP vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) is rallying Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to back the vision of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to champion the needs of the voiceless.

“It is often said that a society is best measured by how it treats its vulnerable and disadvantaged persons. With Dr Bawumia’s track record on Persons with Disability among others, I am confident that the next NPP government under his presidency will continue to champion the needs of the voiceless in our beloved country,” she said.

Mrs Prempeh made the call when she engaged some entrepreneurial women living with disability at the Adabraka Rehabilitation Centre in Accra.

It was part of her campaign to gather support from all sectors of the society for the NPP presidential ticket ahead of the December 7 general elections.

Entrepreneurial path
Mrs Prempeh noted that it was a truly insightful and rewarding experience listening to the PWDs share stories on their life journeys, especially how they have navigated around their disabilities, and their determination to pursue an entrepreneurial path. “The Ghanaian can-do spirit continues to inspire me, and I have no doubt that your determination to leverage on entrepreneurship to lead independent, sustainable lives will come to fruition,“ she told them.

NPP cares
Sharing words of encouragement with them, Mrs Prempeh assured them that the NPP truly cares about all its citizens and will continue to do so. She said PWDs need the support of all Ghanaians to bring the best out of them.
