His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has arrived in the United States to a rousing welcome for a one-week working visit.
Stepping out from his chartered flight in Washington the Asantehene was greeted by Ambassador Victor Emmanuel Smith, County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy, and Nananom.
The royal convoy then swept through Arlington’s streets, sirens wailing, as the King was driven to his residence.
His Majesty’s agenda is twofold: to grace the Millennium Excellence Awards USA 2026, celebrating global achievement, and to lead the Asanteman Akwasidae festival in the U.S.
This visit rekindles the deep Ghana-U.S. partnership.
