Mahama’s 4-year experience is a failure – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, calling his leadership a record of failure.

At the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) final rally at UG, Legon on December 5, the President urged Ghanaians to reject Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December 7 elections.

He pointed out that Mahama’s presidency was filled with economic problems, poor policies, and ineffective governance. Akufo-Addo expressed doubt about Mahama’s ability to solve the issues facing Ghanaians if he were to return to power.

“John Mahama’s record is one of failure,” he stated, highlighting a struggling economy, failed infrastructure, and increasing unemployment during Mahama’s term. The President warned that Mahama’s return would lead to setbacks.

He also highlighted the NPP’s successes in stabilizing the economy, enhancing education with the Free SHS program, and improving healthcare through the Agenda 111 initiative.

Akufo-Addo called for support for the NPP, urging voters to think about the country’s future and emphasizing the clear choice between progress with the NPP and decline with the NDC, while expressing confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the right leader for Ghana’s continued development.
