NPP’s presidential candidate to rally parents, students on education

The Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will speak to Ghanaian parents and students on education and employment in a live broadcast on Sunday, November 10.

He will share his vision for improving the country’s education system and creating jobs.

With worries about the future of Free Senior High School (Free SHS) and Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (Free TVET), Dr. Bawumia plans to reaffirm his support for these initiatives.

In the broadcast, he will outline a detailed plan to ensure that all young Ghanaians can gain the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful life.

His strategies will focus on maintaining Free SHS and Free TVET, which have been well-received by families across the nation.

Recently, Dr. Bawumia addressed the youth of Ghana, discussing the urgent issue of unemployment and promising to create four million jobs over the next eight years if he wins the election on December 7.

This Sunday’s broadcast will highlight the importance of education in preparing young people for the job market.

To enhance Dr. Bawumia’s vision, Ghana’s Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, will provide a detailed presentation on the NPP’s focus on STEM education.

He will also discuss the candidate’s pledge to make tertiary education more accessible, ensuring that financial issues do not stop students from pursuing higher studies.

Dr. Bawumia wants to guarantee that every SHS graduate who wants to continue their education can do so, regardless of their financial situation.

The event, called “Protecting Free SHS, Providing Skills for Jobs – The Bawumia Plan,” aims to connect with parents and students, clarifying the NPP’s commitment to enhancing the education system from kindergarten to university.

Dr. Bawumia’s message is expected to resonate widely, especially as Ghanaians look forward to hearing more about how his administration would build on existing programs and introduce new opportunities for young people.
