Otumfuo’s fruit processing factory makes strides

Bodukwan Multi Fruit Processing Company owned by Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has introduced a range of premium fruit chips onto the market .

The new products come in dried coconut chips, dried mango chips, dried pineapple chips and the assorted mix of all three to suit all preferences, and meet the demands of customers.

In an official statement, the company said the latest “all-natural, crispy, and delicious dried fruit chips, are made from the freshest fruits and are free from added preservatives”.

“Perfect for a healthy snack on the go, or a tasty addition to your meals. Dive into the vibrant flavors of our premium fruit chips and experience the essence of nature in every bite,” the statement from the company added.

Reactions
Many Ghanaians have taken to social media to commend the Asantehene for the investment, which would create jobs for many people.

Some of the comments on Facebook read, “the packaging is first class”, “impressive”, “Wow!! this is great, I heard about it, I didn’t know it will be out so soon”, “Thank you very much Ohene. God richly bless you for providing jobs for your people.”

Bodukwan Multi Fruit Processing Company, located in Sabin Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region, is a state-of-the-art multi fruit processing company set up by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Established in 2020, it is a subsidiary of the Bodukwan Holding Company which has interest in farming and agro processing.

The multi fruit processing company was originally established to add value to the produce from Bodukwan mango farm at Bonte in the Nkoranza North District.
